SB 6 – This bill makes revisions to the red flag laws passed during the 2019 session, including language to more than double the duration that authorities can keep firearms after a red flag order expires.
AB 17 – Eliminating the distinction between an honorable discharge and a dishonorable discharge from probation or parole. This removes stipulations regarding restitution because the distinction from honorable and dishonorable is removed.
AB 197 – Revising requirements concerning the provision of health care to a minor without the consent of his or her parents or legal guardian in certain circumstances; revising provisions requiring the State Registrar to provide certain certificates to a homeless person free of charge in certain circumstances. This bill makes it easier for minors to consent to medical procedures without parental or legal guardian consent.
