LAS VEGAS – Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael J. McDonald released the following statement on the growing protests over the Cuban regime:
“For a generation, the Cuban regime has restricted liberty, silenced dissenters, and imposed disastrous socialist policies that have brought misery and pain to Cuban families. We are witnessing history as the Cuban people are rising up to say “no more”. Nevada Republicans stand with the Cuban community in Nevada and all Cubans that have taken to the streets to protest decades of a repressive dictatorship in Cuba and we support them in their fight for freedom.”
