Las Vegas, NV – NVGOP Chairman Michael J. McDonald released the following statement on today’s Nevada Supreme Court ruling of the 2019 tax increase as unconstitutional:
“Today, justice prevailed. It’s time that we hold our legislators accountable and demand they follow the law. Voters had their voice heard when they made the two-thirds requirement a part of the Nevada Constitution and we were vindicated today when the courts upheld the wishes of Nevadans. The Constitution is not optional.”
