“During the month of May, we celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month to honor the remarkable achievements, history, and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Asian Pacific Americans have played an important role in Nevada’s history. This community embodies the core values of hard work, family values, and are a vital role in Nevada’s culture and economic growth.
Asian Pacific Americans makeup around 10% of Nevada’s population and play an important role in our local, state, and federal democracies. They are small business owners, frontline healthcare workers, community leaders, and they serve to protect our freedom. We thank and stand with Asian Pacific Americans in our country, our state, and our communities.”
