Nevada GOP Unveils ‘DNC Big Rig’ Outside Bernie Sanders Event

LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Republican Party rolled out the “DNC Big Rig” at Bernie Sanders’ rally at Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, his first event in the Silver State for the lead up to Caucus Day, this morning.

After nixing the donor threshold from their debate rules to include self-funding candidates like Michael Bloomberg and the dumpster fire with Iowa’s caucus, many have been left questioning whether the Democratic National Committee and its chair, Tom Perez, are truly impartial and would accept a nominee as extreme as Sanders.

Nevada Democratic Party special interest groups have already begun coming out to prevent a Sanders victory. The Culinary Union has been activated and is warning its members that Sanders would “end Culinary health care” if elected.

The union’s opposition to Sanders has led to his supporters directing profanity-laced attacks at Culinary’s leadership.

With Nevada’s caucus up next, and the Nevada Democrats facing transparency problems over staffing decisions and a last minute caucus overhaul, the Nevada GOP began parking a Big Rig to highlight the perception that the DNC isn’t happy with their current crop of candidates.

“The ‘DNC Big Rig’ addresses the elephant in the room,” said Nevada Republican Party Executive Director Will Sexauer. “With some calling for his resignation already, and accusations of him favoring certain candidates over others, Tom Perez can’t afford another caucus disaster in Nevada.”
