Humboldt County Ballot Issues

**NOTICE**
Humboldt County Voters-
There is an issue with the General Election Ballots that were mailed to Humboldt County voters. The outside of the ballot envelope reads:
“I affirm under penalty of perjury that I am a resident and registered voter of White Pine County…”
Our Election Day Operations team has worked diligently with the Humboldt County Clerk, Secretary of State, and legal teams to ensure the following for voters:
-The error on the ballot envelope will not impact the ability of the ballots to be accepted and counted.
-If voters wish, they can cross through “White Pine” and write in “Humboldt”.
-All voters who received the incorrect ballot envelopes will receive new envelopes in the mail over the next week or so, or if they choose they can pick up a new envelope from the Humboldt County Clerk Office after 10/16/20 at 50 W Fifth Street, Winnemucca, NV 89445.
-Voters can still appear in person and vote during Early Voting Period or on Election Day on voting machines.
It’s unfortunate that this error has led to further confusion with this already complex and new process. Please do not let this discourage you from voting. The best way to ensure there are no issues with your ballot is to vote in person early or on Election Day.
If you run into any issues with ballots or voting, please submit an incident report for our Election Day Operation team to follow up: https://defendyourballot.formstack.com/forms/incident_report
