2024 BALLOT QUESTIONS
Actual language of all purposed allot question in Nevada for 2024.
Suggested voting for each question:
Question 1 : VOTE NO This removes public election of the University of Nevada board of regents. Authorizes state legislature to control the board. This was attempted and defeated by voters in 2020.
Question 2: VOTE YES this updates and modernizes the wording in the state constitution related to mentally ill and physically, impaired or disabled persons.
Question 3: VOTE NO Ranked Choice Voting is being pitched as an “open primary.” As bad as that is, it’s actually so much more. It’s also a way to confuse and distort election results to go to highest “vote getter” after several rounds of elimination. Question 4: VOTE YES this ballot question removes involuntary servitude and the use of slavery as criminal punishments in the state constitution.
Question 5: VOTE YES provides the sales tax exemption for both adult and child diapers, including disposables.
Question 6: VOTE NO ABORTION is codified BY LAW in Nevada already up to 24 weeks, that’s six months, for any reason or no reason at all. This is past the point of viability, and is already among the most liberal abortion laws in the nation. This is an attempt by Democrats in Nevada to extend abortion through all nine months, and to eliminate the requirement that a licensed doctor performs abortions.
Question 7: VOTE YES VOTER ID! Vote, yes to demand voter ID be it by driver’s license or the last four of a social security number to be a legal voter.
