SUMMARY:Mesquite Republican Women Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Fred Simon Running for Nevada Governor\nDr. Simon is a trauma surgeon\, businessman & constitutional conservative who is running as a Republican for Governor from Gardnerville\, Nevada. Dr. Simon was Medical Director of a major trauma service and Medical Director of general surgical hospitalist service in the Scripps Hospital system where he oversaw hundreds of employees and built teams to address complex medical\, operational\, and financial issues.  He has a deep understanding of the public school system with his wife being on the School Board for eight years\, & two of those years as Chair. All of his children have attended public school. As a product of public schools & the proud father of three children in the public school system\, he understands & appreciates ­firsthand the importance and the challenge of ensuring a quality education to every child. \n Dr. Simon believes that only Constitutional Conservatives can save Nevada and America from the Marxist onslaught in our government\, schools and healthcare systems. \nDr. Simon has four immediate policy goals for his administration: \nVoter ID – Day 1-Put the legislature on notice that no bills will be signed until the legislature puts a Voter ID bill on his desk that requires a signature verification from a voter. Day 2-will announce that he is supporting and funding a constitutional amendment citizens’ initiative to require Voter ID with signature match and an end to mass mailing of ballots. \nSchool Choice – Goal is school choice where money follows the child & parents pick the school. His goal is to give up to $10\,000 to parents for each child in a voucher. Parents pick the school. And if you homeschool\, you keep the money as your just compensation. \nHealthcare – Day 1-Entire Nevada State Healthcare Board will be replaced & Dr. Simon will take over as Chair. All mask & vaccine mandates will be abolished & any company that requires their employees to be vaccinated will be prosecuted. Dr. Simon will immediately make therapeutic protocols of Ivermectin and HCQ available through all pharmacies. Any Federal mandates for masking and vaccination will be ignored and litigated. There is a serious issue of no independent doctors in rural Nevada towns anymore. Patients have to travel hundreds of miles to get to see a doctor or a hospital. Dr. Simon will immediately increase the number of scholarships at UNR and UNLV for students in rural communities who want to train as doctors and nurse practitioners. In return for their scholarship\, these students will be required to practice in a rural community for 7 years. And we will immediately recruit cost effective fee-for service practices to our rural communities. \nSafe cities/Safe Communities – Dr. Simon will enhance Nevada’s own Border security by establishing check points on our major highway thoroughfares to interdict any flow of illegal aliens or drugs into Nevada. Dr. Simon will create a joint State and Federal Task force to go after the gangs in Nevada that are the conduit for drug trafficking and will prosecute them under Federal Drug and Gun laws. \n\nSharelle Mendenhall is running for U.S. Senate Guest Speaker \nRepresenting Nevada. She is declaring WAR against tyranny. America is in a crucial hour and Sharelle Mendenhall is declaring war against injustice\, tyranny\, and the agenda to remove the freedom given by the Constitution and by God Himself.
