SUMMARY:Nevada Republican Club Meeting (Southern Nevada)
DESCRIPTION:The club hosts monthly luncheons the first Tuesday of each month at Ahern Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas. The luncheon doors open at 11:00am with business networking until noon. \nEach luncheon features a guest speaker who shares information with attendees about conservative government and business issues. The President introduces all attending Republican elected officials and candidates\, giving attendees an opportunity to meet and see those who represent them and work on their behalf. \nThe meetings end at 1:00pm\, and many members often staying behind to mingle. The cost for a luncheon ticket purchase is $50. Members may reserve a ticket without using a credit card by selecting “Pay At Door RSVP-Member”. This requires payment with cash or check at the door (no credit cards). Walk-ins are welcome on a space available basis. DESCRIPTION:John Tsarpalas – Nevada Policy Research Institute Bio 2023\nJohn Tsarpalas is the President of the Nevada Policy Research Institute and is deeply committed to spreading limited government ideas and policy to create a better\, more prosperous Nevada for all. \nJohn spent the first 25 years of his career as a commercial construction contractor in Chicago. As government regulations and state and local taxes expanded exponentially in his home state of Illinois\, he realized that\, as a business owner\, he had to became more active in the world of politics. \nIn 1996\, when Newt Gingrich drafted the Contract with America\, John became active in Republican political campaigns. After five campaigns where his candidates were the only Republicans elected in Democrat districts\, he was recruited to become the Executive Director of the Illinois Republican Party in 2005. As Executive Director he graduated from the Republican National Committee’s Campaign College and the RNC’s Field Management School. \nAfter being terribly disappointed by Republican votes in the Illinois State House and Congress\, John left the party to pursue alternate routes to making change.  As President of the Sam Adams Alliance the focus was on educating activists and building support organizations to help the free enterprise and limited government movements in 10 states. On the national level he was part of the team that started the Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity and American Majority with chapters in 23 states. \nAfter the Sam Adams Alliance\, John partnered to start the following educational not-for-profits: Think Freely Media\, the Haym Salomon Center for Jewish American Thought\, and Midwest Speaking Professionals.\nA former native of the economically and politically bankrupt state of Illinois\, John has lived in Henderson\, Nevada for 6 years\, with his wife of 44 years.    \nFeel free to contact John at jtsarpalas@nevadapolicy.org\nor (702) 483-1783
