Mr. Vanek helped create one of the first federally funded Human Trafficking Task Forces in 2006. We have no paid staff. All work is done by our volunteer members. Funds raised pay for our headquarters building and monthly meeting venue rents\, utilities\, office supplies and donations to worthy candidates. \nThis past November 2022 election\, Douglas Republicans focused hard on getting three of our three school board candidates elected\, one being elected President of the Douglas County School Board.
