Rep. Ilhan Omar took her anti-Semitic rhetoric even further this weekend – so far that members within her own party are now starting to condemn her ‘hateful tropes.’
Even the former U.S. Ambassador to Israel under President Obama felt compelled to speak out:
And it doesn’t stop there. Rep. Eliot Engel, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, which Rep. Omar sits on, has also condemned her recent “anti-Semitic trope of ‘Jewish money’”:
So, what is stopping Nevada Democrats Susie Lee and Steven Horsford from joining their fellow Democrats in condemning this hateful rhetoric? They didn’t seem to have a problem recently standing with the Jewish community or denouncing anti-Semitismon Holocaust Remembrance Day.
“It shouldn’t be that difficult to condemn hateful rhetoric and blatant anti-Semitism. Democrats like Susie Lee and Steven Horsford who remain silent on this issue are saying more about their leadership than their words ever could. Nevadans won’t forget their silence.” – Renae Eze, RNC Spokesperson
