CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: It’s about the results and we just saw on Friday the great job numbers that 250,000 jobs were added to the economy on average in 2018. We’ve added 218,000 jobs a month. Wages grew over 3 percent for the first time in a decade and we’ve delivered on things that we’ve ran on: taking on the opioid crisis, funding the military, taking care of our veterans. So we have a record of results and the Democrats have a record of resistance and obstruction and they’re not putting forward ideas or a vision for this country. So I think that’s why voters when they go to the polls are going to put Republicans back in the majority.
CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: The American voters are looking at what’s happened over the past two years. They’re making more money, more jobs are coming back, that is a great closing argument in a lot of these House races that are within the margin of error and they’re going to say, ‘Republicans have offered a record of results and Democrats are offering resistance and going back.’
CHAIRWOMAN MCDANIEL: Now we’re averaging between 3.5 and four percent GDP. So the President talks about that but he can talk about multiple things at once and he’s talked about our safety, immigration reform, funding our military, taking on the opioid crisis and he’s not just talking about it, he’s delivering on it. And Democrats, what are they running on? What are they running on right now? What’s their vision? Stop him, resist, obstruct? They can’t take any credit for this good economy because they sat on their hands for two years and all they’ve done is try and stop this President from being successful. So what’s their closing message, abolish ICE, raise taxes? We have a record, we are going to the American people and saying, ‘We have delivered, your lives are better, the economy’s booming, let’s not go back.’
